• All certificates will be issued in online PDF format. 

• All certificates and Abstract book will be issued by the 14th of April 2024. 
• On-site attendance of the conference is necessary in order to receive a certificate and a welcome pack.  
• Certificates are issued only to active and passive participants. Certificates for attending workshops are issued. 

Terms for registering and accepting abstracts:   

1. Abstracts must be written in English.   
2. Abstracts can be submitted for oral or poster presentation. Authors are asked for their preference. However, the final decision on presentation type will be made by IHSC for All 2024 reviewers.   
3. Abstracts should not exceed 3000 characters. References are not included in character limitations. 
4. Abstracts can be submitted only by bachelor’s or master’s degree students. However, we strongly advise all participants to conduct research with more experienced researchers.  
5. Abstracts must include authors and their affiliations (affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, state (if applicable), country).  
6. Abstracts must include the following parts:  

6.1. Introduction – key information to introduce the background of your research and illustrate its scientific problem;   

6.2. Aim – a short description of research objectives;   

6.3. Methods – a description of methods and materials used in the research, including type of study and statistical methods;   

6.4. Results – a description of the obtained results;   

6.5. Conclusions – a summary of your research and answers to the objectives. Try to avoid phrases such as “scientific research is in progress”, “the results and conclusions will be presented at the conference”;   

6.6. References – a list of literature sources which were used during your study. Sources for the abstract must not be older than 10 years.  Citations should be written in Vancouver Citation Style. 

6.7. The primary review will be carried out by two independent experts. Based on their decision abstracts may be:   

– Accepted     

– Rejected    

– Conditionally accepted (modifications and secondary review required)  

6.8. Each author will be asked to read and sign the statement of authorship as well as declare there was no conflict of interest during the making of the abstract when submitting an abstract.    

6.9. Case reports and literature reviews are accepted at the conference. For more information see in “Case reports” section below. 

6.10. Bioethical permission – see more in “Bioethics” section below. 

6.11. Abstracts must not have been published in any format before submitting the abstract (e.g., the Abstract book).    

6.12. The approved abstract will be published without editing. For this reason, we advise you to make sure there are no mistakes left. The IHSC for All 2024 Organising Committee will not be responsible for any errors in the submitted abstracts.  

6.13.  In order to include a comparable number of abstracts in each session, the Organising Committee reserves the right to transfer an abstract to a different session.   

6.14. Only abstracts that comply with the terms and requirements will be published in the Abstract book. 

By uploading abstracts, participants agree to the Terms for registering and accepting abstracts. 

• Systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses are accepted in IHSC for All 2024.    
• Meta-analysis is a quantitative, formal, epidemiological study design used to systematically assess previous research studies to derive conclusions about that body of research. (1)  
• Systematic reviews retrieve, appraise and summarize all the available evidence on a specific health question. They are designed to reduce the effect of the reviewers’ own bias, and a full protocol should be written to define and guide the process. The appropriate resources should be in place before undertaking a review. (2)  
• Used criteria must be reflected in the abstract’s methodology. Extensive guidelines for reporting can be found on https://www.equator-network.org/. 

Terms for presentation:

• Case reports should follow the requirements specified in the  given template. 
• The presentation should last not longer than 3 minutes, following 2 minutes for discussion.

Oral presentations must comply with the requirements as described below:   

• The presentations should be prepared in English.   
• Presentations should be prepared using Microsoft Office PowerPoint. Presenters take full responsibility for file formats and the quality of the presentation.   
• The oral presentation should last no longer than 5 minutes, followed by a 2-minute discussion and questions.   
• Only one of the co-authors can be a presenter. The presenter must participate in the discussion after the presentation. Co-authors may also take part in the discussion.   
• The presentation files should be sent to the session coordinator no later than 7 days before the beginning of the Conference.   
• Authors will be asked to use the official IHSC for All 2024 presentation template for their presentation. The template will be sent with the reviewers’ final decision on the 12th of March 2024. 
• If the provided template is not used, the Organising Committee reserves the right not to publish the abstract in the abstract book. 
• Presentations will be evaluated by a professional Jury Committee during the conference. 

Posters must comply with the requirements as described below:   

• All posters will be presented on-site during the Poster session.   
• All posters will be printed on A1 format paper and will be presented on-site by one of the authors. Presentation must be conducted using the printed poster only. Microsoft Office PowerPoint slides cannot be used in the presentation.  
• A poster is NOT equivalent to an abstract presentation. A poster should illustrate the main points of focus of the abstract using the provided official IHSC for All 2024 template.  
• Posters should follow the requirements specified in the Abstract requirements and be presented using the given template. 
• The presentation should last no longer than 5 minutes.   
• Poster session schedule will be provided on the 12th of March 2024.    
• Templates will be sent with the final reviewers’ decision on the 12th of March 2024.  
• All posters will be printed by the Organising Committee on A1 format paper.  
•  If the provided template is not used, the Organising Committee reserves the right not to publish the work in the abstract book. 
• Posters and their presentations will be evaluated by a professional Jury Committee during the conference. 

• We recommend all abstracts to have a permission issued by the biomedical research ethical committee. If an abstract does not have such permission, we require the authors to provide an explanation.  
• Permission details must be provided in the submission system while submitting the abstract.  
• All abstracts submitted without permission will be reviewed by biomedical research ethical experts to determine if the research needs approval.  
• The organising committee reserves the right to reject an abstract if it is determined that research was conducted without necessary permissions.
